Planning permission has been given to allow the Andover Live team to promote the annual programme of events using lamppost banners in several sites throughout the town. These will not only make a much bigger impression than the traditional single banner between the Guildhall and the adjacent shops, they will also help to create a real party atmosphere as the pre-event excitement builds up.
Thousands of flyers are to be circulated throughout the area in the next few weeks, providing full details of what’s on offer. There’s a generous programme of live music, sports information, demonstrations and have-a-go sessions. There will also be professional arts activities including the Hugh Jart project where visitors will be able to help decorate huge letters spelling the word ART.
Andover Sound will also be stepping up its coverage of the event with a series of promotional adverts to get everyone involved.
